I'm getting a 12 foot aluminum boat and I am getting a 20hp motor but theres one thing i need help with? - aluminum power boats

This is a HP 20 2-stroke short shaft and instant messaging to ask if the power over the boat checked havent seen the labels on the back, nor the scoring system, but I have to KNO on the engine faster and more custom, I have the opportunity to check on the label. Thanks

Depending on the boat manufacturer. May be about 12 feet boats that manage a lot of power, others do not. Pay attention to the capacity plate maker mounted inside the top of the table. This shows the weight and the maximum power that the ship was designed. Crushing a boat like this can be dangerous and illegal. You can rip the transom or rivets. If no disk space on this ship, I would not recommed with more than 7.5 to 9.9 hp.

It is a bit too much and push too much weight on the stern of the boat. A boat of 12 feet is probably a motor with 6 or 8 hp instead of 20 hp. Even 9.9 is better than 20 ... You can use the big motor to move, but will not put too much weight on the rear, and you do not want to accelerate to either the throttle or use in an airplane.

If this were a four-stroke, I would say it is too large, but it is a race 2, which are much lighter. I have a 9.5 "boat with 8 hp 4-stroke, which weighs 85 kg and was beautiful. Its 20 hp 2-stroke, probably weighs about the same. This should be the deadline for home care, we hope that it PDQ and manage efficiently. should be fun.

slightly off target in here, but on You Tube guys get a foot 45 12 ... Results in madness. Check it out. Incidentally, 9.9 would be better if you carry the bag and whenever you start outboard ... just my opinion ... 20 if Probally lite enough to be a little on the level of fear ... take off with your nose in the air.

You can save up to 25 horsepower engine on the boat, the boat is very fast, so do not let children use and invest the fuel tank and anchor in the bow, where he can see his head down, to go where su

At first glance, it seems that power may be prohibitive.

Do not forget to visit the HP board USCG Max.

My thought would be a maximum of 9.9.

That should go. Try first before you open the throttle of the engine.

This will be a lot of energy for your boat. Stay off the gas a little and was fine.

20HP is probably too much for a vessel of 12 meters
