White Gold Re-plating Hand Sanitizers Fading White Gold?

Hand sanitizers fading white gold? - white gold re-plating

A colleague of mine told me that certain chemicals can cause the hand sanitizer rings in white gold, should be re-gilded. As a woman recently engang worries me, because I have a beautiful white gold ring. Does anyone know if this is true? I can not bear the thought, not that I wear my ring when I am at work, but I do not know, it breaks.

Many of the white gold rings rhodium lightning than to be bright. Disinfectants can affect the layer of micro-meter thick metal, but is unlikely. What usually happens is that when the sample of white gold rhodium, not "white" as rhodium flashing and the door again. I would not say that the coating is so thin.

Worrry do so will lose nothing, and if they are still bright, not very expensive.

I understand that for some reason, white is beginning to fade and turn yellow after a while, knows some of PPL and hard for years, for others has faded, and I suppose it depends on the quality. Most have gold-plated iron-Re, or whatever! ugh! must suck! That's why I love my yellow gold! is the real thing, the white gold can not look on the resources and cheap! good luck though!
